Alternative Energy Loans
-
Most rural areas in Pakistan lack access to the national grid. Even in places where electricity is available, frequent interruptions and prolonged load shedding are common issues. However, Pakistan enjoys long hours of sunlight, making solar energy a viable alternative for households in rural and urban areas with unreliable electricity or none. By adopting solar energy, households can meet their energy needs, contributing to daily household chores and income-generating activities, thereby improving their overall well-being. Thardeep Microfinance Foundation (TMF) offers loans to rural and urban clients, enabling them to transition to solar energy for their electricity needs.
